The boat is based at Port Sudan, one of the most important commercial harbours in western Africa, where Christians and Muslims coexist peacefully.
Here will start your unforgettable diving holiday, which will allow you to discover the unspoilt wonders of the Sanganeb and the Shaab Rumi reefs and to explore the remains of the Precontinent II and the shipwrecks of the Umbria and the Blue Belle. Then we will finally reach Anga Rosh: ‘ the mother of sharks…’

The boat

The San Marco is a splendid 30-metre Turkish caique built in 1997 and completely refitted and adapted for diving activities in 2005.
This is a classic two-masted caique with a schooner’s outfitting comprising two auric sails, jib and foresail. Entirely built in wood with structures and finishing in valuable mahogany and iroko, the boat features 6 double and 2 triple cabins, all equipped with independently controlled air conditioning and private bathroom including a shower cubicle.
The boat also features large sundecks at the bow and a comfortable, spacious veranda at the stern, complete with table, sofa and cushions. Inside there is a large lounge with bar, sofa, table, TV, CD player, DVD player, Hi-Fi system, mp3 player and board games.
Alessandro and Licia, both expert diving instructors and guides, are assisted by the professional local members of the crew, who speak perfect Italian, and an excellent chef who will delight you with his Italian specialities.
