The Resort covers all the 18 acres of the island of Landaa Giraavaru, an enchanting hideaway in a tropical paradise where splendid seclusion meets the magnificence of nature. The Resort comprises 102 units between Beach Bungalows and Water Villas.
Bungalows and villas have been built according to Maldivian architectural principles, with straw roofs and walls of stony coral, and offer comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces. Each one is surrounded by lush vegetation which guarantees total privacy.
Beach Bungalow with pool (29 units: 75-square-metre indoor space, 91-square-metre outdoor space). These include a lounge and dining room pavilion overlooking a private garden on the sea side, and a night pavilion with vestibule and dressing room. The large bathroom has a bath tub, a shower and the traditional outdoor Maldivian shower. There is also a terrace with a small 5-metre plunge pool, sun deck and gazebo.
Beach Villa with Pool (30 units: 137-square-metre indoor space, 260-square-metre outdoor space). A small turquoise fence set between little walls of stony coral leads to the private area of the spacious Beach Villas, which comprise a night pavilion, an indoor living room, a dressing room and a luxury bathroom with outdoor shower. The main attraction of the Beach Villas is the 12-metre swimming pool linked to an outdoor living and dining pavilion with sand floor. The loft with daybed is ideal for enjoying the ocean’s view. The traditional Maldivian swing and the sun loungers near the swimming pool and the protected access, directly from the beach, contribute to extend the outdoor space.
Royal Beach Villa (1 unit: 310-square-metre indoor space, 890-square-metre outdoor space). A very large suite with two bedrooms occupying the main pavilion of the Royal Beach Villa, complete with indoor and outdoor bathroom. The villa also offers an outdoor pavilion with living and dining area, kitchenette and butler’s room, and a separate pavilion for guests. The dining area is suspended over the 20-metre pool which stretches hidden along the beach; there is a gazebo, a private massage area and a large sun deck. For large families, the Royal Beach Villa can be linked to two other Beach Villas.
Water Villa (28 units: 74-square-metre indoor space, 53-square-metre outdoor space). Situated along the jetty, the Water Villas offer spectacular views at dawn and sunset. They comprise one bedroom, living room, dressing room and bathroom with outdoor shower. Two-bedroom Water Villa (2 units: 182-square-metre indoor space, 200-square-metre outdoor space). Situated at one end of the Water Bungalows’ jetty, the Water Villas offer spectacular views at dawn and sunset. Each villa offers two identical bedrooms with separate dressing room, bathtub and shower. The living and dining area overlooks the small pool and the sun deck, from which the panoramic rooftop loggia can be accessed. A few steps lead from the sun deck to the lower platform with sea access and shower.
Koimala Land and Ocean Villa (2 units: 280-square-metre indoor space, 400-square-metre outdoor space). A perfect synthesis of the Maldivian concept of land-water, this villa is partly built on the ground, partly on water. The pavilion on the ground features access to the beach and offers the living and dining area, a reading room, a kitchenette and a maid’s room. The water pavilion, linked by a wooden gangway alongside the small 36-square-metre pool, offers one bedroom with dressing room, vestibule and bathroom with outdoor shower. The teak tables and chairs are placed directly in the sand, overlooking the sea.
THE LANDA SPA is a wellbeing centre which also includes the first Ayurvedic centre in Four Seasons. The Centre was created with the assistance of Indian experts from Kerala, in order to offer the all-in-one holistic approach typical of Ayurvedic treatments and culture.
